MSD Series diatomaceous earth stacked disc depth filter elements

Stacked disc depth filter elements are ideal for applications ranging from low-volume laboratory environments to large-scale production for high solids removal or to protect downstream pleat depth or membrane filtration and equipment.

Used in a variety of applications from clarification and prefiltration to sterile filtration

MSD Series Stacked Discs

The MSD Series stacked disc depth filter elements are constructed from a single cell of a blend of cellulose and diatomaceous earth (DE). Each cell is constructed under compression with polypropylene edge seals and separators. A variety of gasket materials are available to ensure chemical compatibility in a variety of liquid applications. Stacked disc depth filter elements are ideal for applications ranging from low-volume laboratory environments to large-scale production for high solids removal or to protect downstream pleat depth or membrane filtration and equipment. DE exhibits an inherent positive charge that supports the removal of negatively charged ions and haze-causing particles.
